| just got back from spring break |

we went to myrtle beach and it was great! the weather was kinda off a bit when we first got there and it didn't rain like the weather forecast said it would and it became rather warm the 2nd day, so all in all, it was good. i went with Dave (who called me the morning as we were getting ready to leave to say that he could come), Jane, Sean, Ji-Seon and Joe. so we drove 2 cars down to myrtle beach and stayed in 1 hotel room. it was pretty nice bc it had a fridge and a dishwasher and stovetop. we went out to eat alot, including places like seacaptain's house (Dave said it looked like a retirement home... due to the numerous seniors and the waitresses that didn't look much younger), then we had pizza, Dick's (the guy made fun of Ji-Seon so bad bc Dave asked him to- my favorite was the condom hat she wore that said "i'm not asian, i'm just really stoned"), and then the Giant Crab (a 120 item seafood buffet that had crablegs on the menu... which was about what everyone ate there).
Dave and I went and visited his grandma Shirley and his dad in the morning of the 2nd day and we went and ate breakfast at a place called Stacks. It was really nice and sort of reminds me of IHOP and almost all other breakfast places... his grandma has so many cats and they're all so friendly.
We went to Broadway at the Beach on Saturday and looked around and shopped. it was fun bc it was starting to get really warm. the shops have changed since i remembered them.
the whole time we were there we all piled into my car (a mercury sable)... there were 6 of us total. that was great fun bc i felt like my car's tires were gonna go flat from all of the weight.... i should have put more air in them before we left...
I kinda wish that we could have stayed for just one more night because then we could have done a little bit more, but i had fun for the time we were down there. |

i interviewed at Burleson Research Technologies last friday and was just called today about the job. they asked if i would like to work there as an intern! i'm so excited i dont know what to do with myself... |

so i'm beginning a new semester at state and i'm taking the following classes: biochemistry, biochemistry lab, self defense, scientific/technical writing and microbial biotechnology. so far, so good, but i'm worried about my biochemistry stuff.
today i interviewed with burleson research technologies, a c.r.o. (contract research organization)out by the airport. hopefully it went well and i can become an intern there. if not, i have to search some more for a place where i can work during the school year. hopefully i can find a summer internship also.
dave and i are dating exclusively again (boyfriend and girlfriend) and i'm really happy about that. i never wanted to date anyone else and i still felt that way given the chance to be able to date other people. everyone else seemed dull compared to david. he's the only one who makes me feel that i can be myself around him and he would still love me for it.
anyway, i've got to go do some other things before i fall asleep. |

but it's not doing any good.. my cat that i've had since i was 4 or 5 is now dying... and i just... i can't stop crying bc i love him so much and i've always had him with me.. i've cried on his stomach whenever i've been sad, he's curled up between my feet in the winter time, he always stepped on my hair on my pillow to wake me up in the morning... i don't want him to die... |

i just slept thru my only 2 classes today bc i desperately needed the sleep and i still feel like i could go back to sleep now.. but i can't bc i have to go run errands and study for my 2 tests tomorrow... and my one on wed... i feel like crap.. *sigh*... but i can't go back to sleep.. i'm up now. ha. |
